I think its safe to say we all know a classic game called Pacman and also the hundreds of clones out in the wild. But did you know that there was a game on the Philips Videopac that totally changed the way you played?
K C Munchkin was a breath of fresh air from the normal clones and added a few nice features. Gone are the hordes of pills and powerups on the board and in came only 8 pills with 4 power-ups. What really changes the game though is that all these pills and power-ups are now moving around the board avoiding you. Once you eat one the rest move faster and faster until its a frantic race to get the last one and not get killed. Which brings me on to the ghosts you contend with as they are much more devious than anything in Pacman. Many a time I have been traped and while I die you can hear screams and cursing.

Sounds good right? Well, thanks to Gary James you can now play this on your Amiga. This port I feel is the definitive version with upgraded sound and graphics. The controls are very simple but very responsive and the whole game is a joy to play. Gary has even included all 8 mazes like the original and you can select them when you want more of a challenge. Some of the mazes even vanish and flash every now and then to let you know where you are.
All in all its a fantastic classic arcade game that I think most people will enjoy it on their own or with friends. I highly recommend this game to everyone.
